Pudina / Mint Chutney


Oil, Cumin - 1 tsp, Chana gram - 1 tsp, Red dry chilli - 3, Garlic - 3 cloves, Pearl onion  - 4, Curry leaves, Tamarind (optional), Mint (handful), Salt, Coconut - 1 cup

Get all the ingredients ready
Heat the pan with, add 2 tsp of oil and saute cumin, chana gram, red dry chilli, garlic and onion. Saute well until the onion turn to golden brown.
Add mint and saute well, add coconut and cool completely.
Transfer to the blender and grind to smooth paste. Add little water if required only.
Finally, serve mint chutney with idly, dosa and rice.
