Pavakkai Puli Kuzhambu / Bitter Gourd

Pavakkai - 2 (medium size), Onion -1/2 chopped, Green chilli - 3, Garlic - 3 cloves, Curry leaves, Tomato - 1, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Sambar powder - 2 tbsp, Salt, Tamarind water - 4 tbsp

Get all the ingredients ready
Heat the pan with sesame oil add pavakkai roasted it well until it turns golden brown.
Add 4 tbsp of tamarind water, salt, turmeric powder, garlic and 1/2 cup water. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add onion, green chilli, tomato, curry leaves and sambar powder and 1/4 cup water and mix well.
Close the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Until it comes thick.
Pavakkai Puli Kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice.
