Peerkangai / Ridge Gourd Kuzhambu

Peerkangai - 1, Oil - 2 tbsp, Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp, Pearl onion - 7, Green chilli - 2, Curry leaves, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Tomato - 1, Salt

Get all the ingredients ready
Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutters, add onion, add green chilli, add curry leaves and saute well until onion turn golden brown.
Add tomato, saute well and cook for a minute. Add peerkangai, add turmeric powder, add salt and add 1 cup of water.
Cover with a lid and let it cook in medium flame for 7-8 minutes or until the peerkangai is cooked well.
Allow it, the water has dried.
Peerkangai Kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice.
