Banana Appam

Wheat - 1 cup, Rava / Sooji - 1 tbsp, Jaggery - 1/4 cup, Cardamom - 1/4 tsp, Banana - 2 or 3, Oil - for fry


Mash the banana without lumps.
Add jaggery and mix well until it melt completely.
Add wheat flour, rava, cardamon powder and mix well.
Add more banana or water to make thick batter.

Dip your hand in water and start dropping them one by one to hot oil. Keep on the low flame and stir occasionally. Fry the appam until it turns dark golden brown. Drain off the appam on to kitchen towel to absorb oil.
Banana Appam is ready.
