Beetroot Chutney


Ingredients
Shredder beetroot - 1 cup, Pearl onion - 4, Red dry chili - 3, Shredded coconut - 3/4 cup, Curry leaves, Garlic - 3 cloves, Malli / Coriander seeds - 1 1/2 tsp, Cumin - 1 tsp, Bengal gram -1 tsp, Urad gram - 1 tsp, Oil, Salt, Tamarind - 1 piece


Method
Get all the ingredients ready
Heat the pan with oil, add bengal gram and urad gram, saute well until it turns brown.
Add red dry chilli, malli, cumin, curry leaves, garlic, onion, saute well until onion and garlic turns golden brown.
Add beetroot and saute well, cook it for 5 minutes on the medium flame.
Once it cooked, cool it completely and add tamarind.
Transfer it into the blender, blends it in to a fine paste.
Beetroot Chutney is ready to serve with idli and dosa.
