Kothamalli / Coriander Chutney


Ingredients
Kothamalli - 1 cup, Pearl onion - 6, Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup, Curry leaves, Red dry Chilli - 1, Green chilli - 2, Cumin - 1 1/2 tsp, Chana gram - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp, Tamarind - 1 piece, Salt, Oil


Method
Get all the ingredients ready
Heat the pan with oil, add cumin, chana gram and green chilli, saute well until chana gram turns to brown.
Add onion and curry leaves, saute well until onion turns to golden brown.
Add kothamalli, saute well and cook for a minute.
Add shredded coconut, tamarind and saute well.
Cool it completely, then transfer it into the blender, add 1/2 cup water and blends into smooth paste. Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and red dry chilli, when it splutters and add seasoning to the chutney.
Kothamalli / Coriander Chutney is ready to serve with idli, dosa and rice.
