Rava / Semolina Pongal

Rava / Semolina - 1 cup, Moong gram - 1/4 cup, Ghee, Cumin - 1 tsp, Black Pepper - 1 tsp, Cashews - 10, Green chilli - 2, Curry leaves, Salt

Get all the ingredients ready
Separately dry the rava and moong gram and keep aside.

Cook the moong gram with 1 cup water for 10-15 minutes and keep aside.
Heat the pan with  2 tbsp of ghee, add cumin, black pepper, cashews, curry leaves, green chilli, saute well until cashews turns golden brown.
Add cooked moong gram and salt, saute well for 30 seconds.
Add 1 & 1/2 cups of water and bring to boil.
Add roasted rava in a sprinkled way and continuously stir. 
Close the pan with a lid and lets it simmer on the low flame and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Rava / Semolina Pongal is ready to serve with chutney and sambar.
