Suraikai Verkadalai Kuzhambu / Bottle Gourd Gravy

Surakkai - 1, Oil - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp, Onion - 1/2 chopped, Green Chilli - 3, turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Curry leaves, Salt, Peanut powder - 3 tbsp


Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutter, add green chilli, curry leaves, onion and saute well until onion turns to golden brown.
Add surakkai, turmeric powder, salt, saute well and cook for a minute.
Add 1 cup of water and cover the pan. Let it cook for 10 - 15 minutes on the medium flame. 
Once it boiled, add the peanut powder and mix well, cook for a minute on the low flame.
Surakkai Verkadalai Kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice.
