Tomato With Coconut Chutney

Oil - 1 tbsp, Chana gram - 1 tbsp, Cumin - 1 tsp, Malli / Coriander seeds - 1 tsp, Garlic - 3 cloves, Pearl onion - 5, Curry leaves, Tomato - 1, Shredded coconut - 3/4 cup, Salt, Tamarind(optional)


Heat the pan with oil, add chana gram when it turns to brown, add malli, cumin, garlic, onion and saute well until onion and garlic turns to golden brown.
Add tomato, curry leaves, salt, saute well and cook for 2 minutes on the medium flame.
Add shredded coconut, mix well and cool it completely.
Transfer it into blender and blends into fine paste.
Tomato With Coconut Chutney is ready to serve with idli and dosa.
