Peerkangai Chutney | Ridge Gourd Chutney

 Peerkangai - 1 medium size, Pearl onion - 4, Tomato - 1, Red dry chili - 3, Curry leaves, Garlic - 3 cloves, Bengal gram -1 tsp, Oil, Salt


Get all the ingredients ready.
Heat the pan with oil, add bengal gram saute well until it turns brown. Add red dry chilli, curry leaves, garlic, saute well until garlic turns golden brown.
Add onion, saute well until onion turns golden brown and add tomato, saute well for a minute or until tomato becomes soft. Then add peerkangai, salt and saute well.
Cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame. Then cool it completely.
Transfer it into a blender and blends into a fine paste.
Peerkangai Chutney | Ridge Gourd Chutney is ready to serve with idli and dosa.
