Pudalangai Poriyal / Snake Gourd Curry

Pudalangai - 1, Oil - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp, Bengal gram - 1 tbsp, Green chilli - 2, Onion, Curry leaves, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Shredded coconut - 1/4 cup, Salt


Get all the ingredients ready.

Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutters, add bengal gram, green chilli, curry leaves, onion and saute well until onion turns to golden brown.
Add pudalangai, turmeric powder, salt and saute well for 30 seconds.
Add 1/4 cup of water and mix well. Close the pan and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.

Once it cooked, add shredded coconut and mix well. Let it cook for a minute.
Pudalangai Poriyal / Snake Gourd Curry is ready to serve.
