Tiffin Sambar | Idli Sambar

Toor gram - 1 cup, Carrot - 1, Beans - 7, Pearl onion - 6, Tomato - 1, Green chilli - 2, red dry chilli - 2, Curry leaves, Malli/Coriander leaves, Oil, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp, Hing - a pinch, Salt, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Sambar powder - 1.5 tbsp

Get all the ingredients ready.
Pressure cook the toor gram with 3 cups of water, pinch of  hing, turmeric powder and 1 tsp of oil, carrot, beans, onion, tomato, green chilli, sambar powder for 4 whistles. Then release the pressure open the lid, add salt & mix well and transfer it into a bowl.
For Seasoning:

Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutters, add red chilli, curry leaves.
And it into sambar. Then, garnishing the coriander leaves.
Tiffin Sambar | Idli Sambar is ready to serve with idli, dosa and chapathi.
