Get all the ingredients ready. |

Dry roast the moong gram and pressure cook the moong gram along with 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of oil for 3 whistles. Keep aside. |

Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutter, add cumin, red dry chilli, curry leaves, onion, saute well until onion turns to golden brown and add tomato. |

Add salt, turmeric powder, a pinch of hing and saute well for 30 seconds. Add zucchini, sambar powder and saute well. |
|
Add 1 cup of water and cover the pan. Cook it for 10 minutes or until zucchini turns soft. |

Add the cooked moong gram, mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes on the medium flame. |

Zucchini with Moong Gram Curry is ready to serve with rice, chapathi. |
