Idli Podi

Urad gram - 1 cup, Bengal gram - 1/2 cup, Red dry chilli - 15, Sesame seeds - 1/4 cup, Hing - 1/2 tsp, Salt, Oil - 1 tsp, Curry leaves


Get all the ingredients ready.
 Heat a frying pan over medium flame.

 Dry roast the sesame seeds, curry leaves and red dry chilli one by one.

In a same pan add 1 tsp of oil and roast the urad gram and bengal gram, saute well on medium flame until it turns to golden brown.
 Do not over roast the ingredients and cool it completely.

All the ingredients transfer into the blender along with hing and salt and blend to coarse powder.

Cool it completely and transfer to a air tight container & use when required.
Idli Podi is ready to serve with dosa and idli.
