Thayir Kuzhambu

Curd / Thayir - 1 cup, Oil - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp, Cumin seeds - 1 tsp, Urad gram - 1 tbsp, Green chilli - 2 , Tomato 1, Curry leaves, Salt, Malli/Coriander leaves


Get all the ingredients ready.
Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutters, add urad gram, add cumin seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, onion and saute well until onion turns golden brown. Add tomato and saute well.
Add salt and cook it for a minute or until raw smell gets off, add coriander leaves. Cool it completely.
Then. add curd and mix well.
Thayir Kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice, idli, chapathi.
