Ragi Semiya

Ragi semiya (Anil) - 2 cup, Oil - 2 tbsp, Urad gram - 1 tbsp, Onion - 1, Green chilli - 3, Tomato - 2 or (Tomato puree - 1 cup), Curry leaves, Malli/Coriander leaves, Salt


Get all the ingredients ready.
Soak the ragi semiya in a little water along with salt for 3 minutes. 
Drain water completely.
Stream cook the soaked semiya for 4-5 minutes in a idli pot.
Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutter, add urad gram, green chilli, curry leaves and onion, saute well until onion  turn to golden brown. Add tomato puree and saute well.
And cook it for 2-3 minutes until the raw smell gets off. Then, add the ragi semiya and mix it well in a low flame. Finally, add the coriander leaves.

Ragi Semiya is ready to serve with coconut chutney.
