Get all the ingredients ready. |

Heat the pan with 1 tsp of oil, add cCoriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel
seeds, whole pepper, cinnamon, cloves, red dry chilli, rice and saute well for 2 minutes in medium flame. |

Add shredded coconut, saute well for 1 minute. Keep aside and cool it completely. |

Heat the pan with 1 tsp of oil, add onion, ginger, garlic and saute well for 1 minute and add tomato, saute well for 2 minutes in medium flame. Keep aside and cool it completely. |

Transfer the roasted spices and onion mixer into a blender and add the required water. |
|
Then, blends into a fine paste and transfer into a bowl. |

Heat the pressure cooker with 1 tbsp of oil, add mustard seeds when it
splutters, add green chilli, curry leaves. Add add tomato and saute well for 1 minute. |

Add mutton and saute well for a
minute. Add turmeric powder, mix well and cook for 3-4
minutes. |

Add the grinded masala. |
|
Add required water to adjust the kuzhambu consistency and mix well. |
|
Add salt and mix well. |
|
Close the pressure cooker and cook it to 6-7 whistles. |
|
Open the pressure cooker after air released. Oil is floating on the top that indicates the mutton is cooked. |

Kongu Nadu Style Mutton Kuzhambu | Arachuvitta Mutton Kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice, idly, dosa and chapathi. |
