Get all the ingredients ready. |

Cut & cook vazhakkai along with turmeric powder and salt for 15 minutes or it becomes soft. |

Drain cooked vazhakkai from water and keep aside. |

In a blender, add coconut, green chilli, garlic and blends into a coarse powder. |

Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutter, red dry chilli, curry leaves and onion, saute well until onion turn
to golden brown. |
|
Add cooked vazhakkai, salt and mix well and cook for a minute. |
|
Add coconut mixture. |
|
Then, mix well and cook for a minute in low minute. |
|
Vazhakkai Thoran | Raw Plantain Curry is ready to serve. |
