Bonda Mor Kuzhambu


Ingredients
Fried gram flour - 1 cup, Rice flour - 2 tbsp, Onion - 1 chopped, Green chilli - 3, Curry leaves, Coriander leaves, Baking soda - a pinch, Salt, Oil for fry, Coriander seeds - 1 tsp, Cumin - 1 tsp, Toor gram - 1 tsp, rice - 1/2 tsp, Ginger - 1 inch, Green chilli - 2, Curry leaves, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Butter milk - 1 cup, Coconut oil - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds, Red dry chilli - 2
 


Method
Get all the ingredients ready
Finely chopped onion, green chilli, coriander and curry leaves. Mix all chopped items with fried gram and rice flour and add baking soda, salt and water. Mixed it well like thick paste without making lumps.


Heat the frying pan with oil in medium flame.
Drop the batter into the hot oil in small bonda shape.


Deep fry the bonda till it turn to brown in color. Keep aside.
Soak coriander seeds, cumin, rice and toor gram for 30 minutes. Transfer it into blender along with green chilli, ginger and blends into fine paste. Keep aside.
Heat the pan with coconut oil, add mustard seeds when it splutter, red dry chilli, curry leaves.
Add grounded masala, a cup of water and mix well. Cook another 5 minutes or until raw smell gets off. 
Add fried bonda. Cook for a minute and switch off the stove, leave for 5 minutes.
Add butter milk.
Mix it well.
Bonda Mor Kuzhambu ready to serve with rice.
