Coconut Cookies


Ingredients
All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup, Powder sugar - 1/2 cup, Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup, Butter - 2 tbsp, Milk - 1/4 cup, Baking powder - 1/2 tsp


Method

Get all the ingredients ready.
Heat the pan, add shredded coconut and saute well until its turns to golden brown. Keep asideand cool its completely.
Transfer the roasted coconut into a blender and blends into a coarse powder.
Add butter and powder sugar.
Beat it well until it turns to smooth.
Add all purpose flour, grinded coconut, baking powder.
Mix it well.
Sprinkle a required milk.
Mix it well and make a soft dough.

Take a small ball sized cookie dough and press gently.

Apply the butter on a baking tray and place it over a baking tray.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
Cookie will be soft initially. Cool it completely and coconut cookie turns crisp and crunchy.
Coconut Cookies are ready.
