Ragi Puttu | Coconut Shell Ragi Puttu


Ingredients
Ragi flour - 1 cup, Salt, Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup, Coconut shell, Water


Method

In
Get all the ingredients ready.
Take a coconut shell with 3 dots. Break one of the dots with a knife  to make a hole. Keep aside.
In a bowl, add ragi flour, a pinch of salt, sprinkle some water and mix it well.
Heat the pressure cooker with enough water, close the lid. Do not put the whistle and allow it to boil until stream comes from the top.
In a coconut shell, add 1 tbsp of shredded coconut.
Add 1/4 cup of ragi flour mixture. Again add 1 tbsp of shredded coconut and add 1/4 cup of ragi flour. Spread it evenly and do not press it while filling the flour.
Close the filled coconut shell and place it over the cookers whistle, by inserting it through the holes and coom it for 2-3 minutes on medium flames.
Remove and open the coconut shell from the cooker and transfer it on a serving plate.
Ragi Puttu | Coconut Shell Ragi Puttu is ready to serve it immediately with brown/white sugar.
