Toor Gram With Gongura


Ingridients
Toor gram - 1 cup, Gongura leaves - 1/2 cup finely chopped, Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp, Oil - 3 tsp, Garlic - 3 cloves, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp, Cumin - 1 tsp, Pepper - 5 to 10, Red dry chilli - 3, Onion - 1 chopped, Curry leaves, Asafoetida / hing - a pinch, Salt


Method
Get all the ingredients ready
Pressure cook the toor gram with 3 cups of water, turmeric powder, 1 tsp of oil & 3 garlic cloves.
Heat the pan, add oil, mustard seeds, Cumin, red dry chilli, onion and curry leaves. Saute them well until it becomes brown. Add gongura leaves & salt.
Saute well, add water and cook it for 4-5 mins.
Add the Cooked dal. Add water if need per your consistency. Cook it for 5 mins in medium flames.
Dish is ready to serve with rice/chapathi.
