Javarishi / Sabudana Payasam

Javarishi / sabudana - 1/2 cup, Whole milk - 1.5 cup, Sugar - 3/4 cup, Cardamom powder - 1 tsp, Cashew - 15, Raisins - 2 tbsp

Get all the ingredients ready.
Soak javarishi in water for 30 minutes. Soak more to reduce the cooking time.

In a sauce pan add milk and add soaked javarishi along with 1 cup of water and boil it on the medium flame.
Stir and cook until the javarishi turns to thick. 
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Add sugar, mix well and cook until the javarishi payasam turns to thick.
Add the roasted cashews and raisins, mix well and simmer for 5 minutes on the low flame.
Javarishi / sabudana payasam is ready.
