Cranberry with Toor Gram Sambar | Cranberry with Toor Gram Kuzhambu

Cranberry - 1 cup, Toor gram - 1 cup, Oil - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds - 1/ tsp, Cumin seeds - 1 tsp, Onion - 1/2 chopped, Green chilli - 2, Curry leaves, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp, Hing - a pinch, Sambar powder - 1 tbsp, Salt, Malli / Coriander leaves


Get all the ingredients ready.
Pressure cook the toor gram and cranberry with 3 cups of water, turmeric powder, 1 tsp of oil to 3 whistles.
Heat the pan, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin, green chilli, onion and curry leaves. Saute them well until it becomes brown. Add sambar powder, turmeric powder, hing & salt, saute well for a minute.
Once pressure is released, open the cook & smashed the toor gram and cranberry. Then add into a pan and mix well. Add water if need per your consistency. Cook it for 5 minutes in medium flames.
Then add the coriander leaves.
Cranberry with Toor Gram Sambar  | Cranberry with Toor Gram Kuzhambu is ready to serve with rice.
