Paruppu Podi for Rice

Toor gram - 1 cup, Fried gram - 1 cup, Red dry chilli - 15, Cumin seeds - 1 tsp, Pepper Corns - 1 tsp, garlic - 10 cloves, Hing - 1/4 tsp, Salt, Oil - 1 tsp


Get all the ingredients ready.
 Heat a frying pan with oil add garlic and roasted it until to golden brown in medium flame.
Dry roast the cumin seeds and pepper corns for 3-4 minutes.
In a same pan add toor gram ,saute well on medium flame until it turns to golden brown. Then add red dry chilli and saute for 1 minute in medium flame.
 Do not over roast the ingredients,  and cool it completely. Then, add fried gram.
All the ingredients transfer into the blender along with hing and salt and blend to fine powder.

Cool it completely and transfer to a air tight container & use when required.
Paruppu Podi for Rice is ready to serve.
