Urad Gram(Dal) Sweet Vada | Ulundhu Inippu Vadai

Urad gram - 1 cup, Sugar - 1 cup, Shredded coconut - 1/4 cup, Cardamom - 5, Salt - a pinch


Get all the ingredients ready.
Soak the urad gram for 1 hour.
Drain the urad gram. Grind the urad gram without water. Add sugar after the urad gram grind half way and then add coconut. Grind the batter with a semi coarse paste.

If you feel the batter is watery, add little bit of rice flour.
Take a small size batter and make a ball and gently flatten it.
Heat the pan with oil in medium flames. Gently lower the vadai in hot oil and cook for a minute. Cook the vadai on both sides.
Until the vadai turns golden brown and drain the vadai from oil.
Urad Gram(Dal) Sweet Vada | Ulundhu Inippu Vadai is ready to serve with ghee and banana.
