Get all the ingredients ready. |

Heat the pan with oil, add onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, saute well until its turns to soft, add shredded coconut,fried gram and saute well for a minute, switch off the flame add curry masala powder and mix well. Cool it completely.
Transfer it into blender and blends into fine paste. Keep aside. |

In a souce pan, add meal maker with enough water and cook for 10 minutes. Once meal maker is cooked drain off the water and transfer to a bowl of cold water for a minute. Then drain off the cold water too. Keep aside. |

Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seed when it splutter, add red dry chilli, curry leaves, onion and saute well until its turns to golden brown. |

Add tomato, salt, turmeric powder and saute well until tomato becomes soft. |

Add cooked meal maker & mix well and cook for a minute. |
|
Add grounded paste and add a cup of water to adjust the gravy consistency and cook until the raw smell get off. |
|
The gravy becomes thin and let its simmer for 5 minutes on medium flame and garnish the coriander leaves. |
