Garlic Rasam


Ingredients
Tamarind - medium lemon size, Tomato - 1, Garlic - 78 cloves, Oil - 1 tsp, Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp, Hing - 1/4 tsp, Red dry chilli - 3, Curry leaves, Coriander leaves, Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp,  Salt, Rasam Powder - 1 tbsp

Method

Get all the ingredients ready.
Smashed the tomato and garlic. And extract the puree from tamarind. (one cup puree)
Heat the pan with oil, add mustard seeds when it splutter, add red dry chilli, curry leaves and hing, saute well. Add tomato and saute well for a  minute.
Add turmeric powder, add tamarind puree and mix well.
Add 2 cup water or adjust the rasam consistency. Add the rasam powder, garlic, salt and mix well. Then, allow it to boil.
Once started to boil, immediately switch off the stove and add the coriander leaves.
Garlic Rasam is ready to serve.
